About the school
El Platanal is an independent language school dedicated to teaching French and Spanish, and offering recommendations for English teachers who provide quality services. In Colombia, a "Platanal" is a name used metaphorically for a place where nothing thrives. It is true that in my country, thriving can be difficult. However, there is always the possibility of entrepreneurship and success outside of the political maneuvering and class structures that trade on the opportunities and hopes of young people in Colombia. ​​My school is positioned in line with decolonial claim. El Platanal is a claim to myself and to the hope of entrepreneurship and education.
Methodology
My classes are mainly based on developing the four communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) through the use of multiple virtual applications. My greatest strength is adapting to each student's particular needs.

How does it work?
1. You pay for a package of classes.
2. You receive an email with the main instructions and the link to the class (Zoom).
3. You attend the class.
4. You receive an email or a post on Google Classroom with the notes and homework for the class.
5. You do the homework.
6. You schedule your new class through Google Calendar.
